We stopped by TrailHead Spirits last night for a meet n greet with our Governor. He presented the State of the State the night before in Helena. We definitely support his agenda.
We took Tillie our Snow Angel Basset with us to our White Sulphur Springs Ski and Hot Wadda trip-fun!
Getting ready for a White Sulphur Springs weekend of cross country skiing and hot springs soaking with my favorite guy! Last time we went skiing I decided I needed a warm hat with a brim on it. I found one today at Base Camp, our local outdoor shop. I thought it had a bit 'o funky style. Yes, we're brimming with outdoor adventure swag, during the Winter Season in Montana!
My friend and (now former-takes getting used to!) co worker is a
quick draw caricature artist! She drew my absolutely, favorite, artist hands down retirement gift-my portrait. Senior High's staff signed the mat. Love this! Carolyn (photo) a while back gave me a card with the neat saying on it below. I re-designed it and used it to enhance a going away package of homemade Bailey's and biscotti for a couple close co worker friends for their Saturday coffee, Carolyn included!
Day one retirement:
I personally love a New Year's Resolution.
Nothing like some good ol' goal setting.
This years resolution?
'MAKE the GIFTS I give'.
The LEGO installation at our Yellowstone Art Museum was a fun, last day of winter vacation outing! Joe and I wandered around the pieces, enjoying and visiting about several. The whimsical quality of the medium was interesting to see manipulated into more thought provoking sculptures.
As a working artist/retired art educator, I've always lived the artful life. Let's share!
