I cannot resist setting a beautiful table for family and friends. It is my personal way of showing my love and affection for them! Above is our Easter tablescape. We even had Peeps Martinis for cocktails-marshmallow vodka with half and half and a bit of club soda.
I went to floral school the summer I graduated from high school-around forty some years ago! I thought working in floral shops would be a good way to finance my college education. I worked my full senior year to save up money for my courses in Denver. It has really served me well. I financed both undergrad and graduate degrees through the floral business. Best of all, I enjoyed the work immensely and utilize it to the day. My wooden dutch shoes were a rescue mission find, around $2.00. I added hooks to hang, and arranged flowers in foam in the shoes. I can't help myself, I must adorn my porches!
