"Bake the world a better place..."

"I began to listen differently--to myself, to others, and to the world around me. "I thought the earth remembered me, she took me back so tenderly, arranging her dark skirts, her pockets full of lichens and seeds. I slept as never before, a stone on the river bed, nothing between me and the white fire of the stars but my thoughts and they floated light as moths among the branches of the perfect trees. All night I heard the small kingdoms breathing around me, the insects, and the birds who do their work in the darkness. All night I rose and fell, as if in water, grappling with a luminous doom. By morning I had vanished at least a dozen times’ into something better.” Mary Oliver Bat Warden

The first time I read this book I was in my mid-30s, and re visited the book a couple times after that. It is, for me, one of the books I have read and reread throughout my life and each time found a deeper meaning. Each decade of our life brings changes to explore. This book is in my permanent library. When I saw this class available, I immediately signed up! It has been very enriching to be able to discuss and share with a group of women of similar ages, and at the same time share some of our universal life events as a woman. Our journey is guided by Dr. A. She is brilliant! She facilitates our group with insights, and leads us to deeper thinking. The journaling has been thought-provoking. The class has opened me up to to a more vibrant awareness of self, soul, and female archetypes. Highly recommend! ‘We are who we are, Summer 2023 highlights. Went way to fast! To be a gentle mover in a swiftly spinning world. These are some of my favorite vacation photos from our Inner Passage cruise to Alaska from Vancouver, Canada & railroad trip into Denali National Park and World Heritage Center. Also included is our six day camping trip through Vancouver Island, and Victoria, British Columbia. Summer Month of July 2023 Let there be |
